You will be amazed at the brilliant colors as you tiptoe through millions of tulips and experience the old world charm of Pella, Iowa! Add to this the historic Amana Colonies and the country’s tallest working windmill, and you quickly see why this tour of definitely for “Making Memories!”

Day 1 – Leaving home behind, we set out this morning headed for Des Moines, Iowa, where we will check into our hotel for three nights’ lodging. Lodging: Hampton Inn

Day 2 – We board our coach today for a short drive to Amana, Iowa, where we pick up our guide for a narrated tour of the historic Amana Colonies. We’ll then have an included lunch at the delightful Ox Yoke Inn, after
which there will be free time to check out the shops before returning to Des Moines.

Day 3 – The Pella Tulip Festival, with the charm of its quaint historical village, will provide scenes of costumed guides, parades, street scrubbers, Dutch dancers and, of course, tulips! There will be free time for you to explore the shops and visit the tulip gardens. We depart Pella for our farewell dinner before returning to Des Moines.
