Chicago Here We Come

Day 1 Depart Cassville. We will stretch our legs in Lebabon, MO then continue to St. Louis where we will pause for lunch. After a brief respite in Bloomington, IL, we’ll continue to Chicago where we will end our day at our deluxe hotel.

Day 2 Today we begin our adventure with a highlights tour of Chicago. Our knowledgeable guide will join us on a driving tour of the city’s memorable, beautiful and historical sites including the incredible Sears Tower Skydeck. After lunch at the Navy Pier and some free time, we board the “Tall Ship” for a relaxing hour and a half crusie after which, we return to our hotel for some well-deserved rest.

Day 3 Enjoy a hearty breakfast and grab a coffee to go as we head for the John G. Shedd Aquariaum and Oceanarium. Enjoy the awesome, captivating and sometimes frightening residents such as Beluga Whales, Pacific White Sided Dolphins, Bonnethead Sharks, Penguins and even the Goliath bird-eating Tarantula.

Our two-hour lunch will be an experience in itself as we enjoy a magnificent buffet and cruise the Chicago Lakefront aboard the Spirit of Chicago.

Next we will tour the Museum of Science and Industry, hailed as the largest science museum in the Western Hemisphere, including a tour of an authentic WWII submarine.

Just when you think this day couldn’t get any better … “Psssst, Do you’s know da password?”

Entertaining audiences since 1987, we’ll experience Chicago’s longest running audience interactive Dinner Show as we step back into the “Roaring Twenties” via a Speakeasy and Tommy Gun’s Garage after which we will return to our hotel.

Day 4 Today, you will enjoy a fantastic shopping and dining experience on the famous Magnificent Mile. Given the nickname in the 1940’s, the “Mag Mile” is home to various mid-range and high end retail stores as well as museums, fine eateries and several of the tallest buildings in the United States. We will depart Chicago at approximately 1 p.m. with our sites set on Springfield, IL where we will find deluxe lodging.

Day 5 Depart Springfield, IL. As we head home. enjoy the scenery, share our many experiences, photos and stories with your travel companions or nap and dream of your next vacation. We will arrive in Cassville around 4 p.m. We look forward to traveling with you!
